Held from May 6 to 9, 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the 24th China International Foundry Expo, the 19th China International Die-casting Industry Exhibition, and the International Non-ferrous & Special Casting Exhibition grandly kicked off. Coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the founding of China Foundry Association, the event gathered elites from the global foundry industry, showcasing cutting-edge technologies, high-end equipment and innovative achievements across the sector. It has injected strong impetus into the upgrading of the foundry industry in the opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

As the world’s largest and most influential flagship event in the foundry industry, the exhibition covered nearly 120,000 square meters across four professional pavilions. It attracted over 1,200 leading enterprises worldwide, covering the entire industrial chain including castings, die-casting, raw and auxiliary materials, intelligent equipment, environmental protection facilities, 3D printing and digital solutions.

The exhibition welcomed 150,000 professional visitors from more than 60 countries and regions, along with over 30 international buyer delegations. The intelligent equipment zone featured melting robots, automatic molding production lines, digital twin factory systems, precision testing equipment and more, advancing foundry production toward high efficiency, precision and flexible upgrading.

The green foundry technology zone showcased outstanding innovations such as eco-friendly binders, energy-saving melting technologies and waste sand recycling solutions, supporting the industry in pursuing the dual carbon goals and sustainable development.

Exhibits served key sectors including automobiles, rail transit, aerospace, shipbuilding, new energy equipment and engineering machinery. A wide range of high-end precision castings, lightweight die-castings and art castings were on display, demonstrating the leap-forward development of China’s foundry industry from manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing, and from quantity expansion to quality strength. It also provided solid support for collaborative innovation across the industrial chain.

As a key celebration event marking the 40th anniversary of China Foundry Association, the 2026 Shanghai Foundry Exhibition not only reviewed the remarkable achievements of the industry, but also made strategic layout for future development.
